Please keep in mind that there is SIGNIFICANT processing time on Health Certificates. Please allow at least 3 weeks for the vet appointment to be made and the paperwork to be processed. This CANNOT be requested last minute.
SHADE
Petting zoo animals NEED shade if the temperature is above 80 F. Shade from the side of a building, overhang, tent, umbrella or tree are acceptable. Each animal needs an area about 5'x5'. So 2-3 pop up tents or a tree work well for most packages. If the temperature is below 80F, they are fine in the sun.
PARKING
If you have just pony rides, we can park further away and walk the ponies. If you have any petting zoo package, we need nearby parking. If you cannot provide nearby parking that is on a hard surface (gravel asphalt etc. We do not drive on grass) then please understand that set up may take longer than normal (15 min) and you may need to book an earlier time to achieve your ideal start time.
SAFETY
If the animals are being frightened, mishandled, abused or harassed, Wagon Wheel Mobile Farm staff will issue warnings. If the behavior is not corrected immediately, we reserve the right to take the animal(s) to safety and leave without refund. Any individual who is acting in a manner unsafe to themselves or others (i.e. taunting an animal to kick or bite, fighting or roughhousing near animals) will be asked to leave the animal area.
DEPOSIT
The $100 deposit is non-refundable. We offer a free re-schedule for any reason as long as you give us 12hrs heads up. You do not have to pick a new date right away. Just let us know that you need to put your event on hold. You can then reach back out later when you're ready to get back on the schedule (even a year later), and we'll fit you in if the spot is still available.
FINAL PAYMENT
Balance is due upon ARRIVAL to your event. If your event is shortened for any reason (weather, things winding down, etc) the time already completed is due (1hr minimum), but the remaining time will not be charged. We have several options for final payment:
Your booking is not confirmed until payment is completed on the next step. Your spot will be temporarily held for 30 minutes while you complete checkout — if you take longer, you will need to start the booking process over.
